What is sitemap
A sitemap is an important part of SEO. Sitemap – it is an instrument for search engines that scan sites.
Generating sitemap will be manual work and, after that, will be an automatic part of the work with a sitemap.
Generate sitemap in Magento 2
We need to create an XML file for search engines.
Marketing -> Site Map
in Page Sitemap -> add sitemap
add information for sitemap.xml
Sitemap configuration in Magento 2
After generating the file, we start configuring sitemap in the Admin Panel.
Stores -> Configuratiuon
Catalog -> Sitemap XML
Generation Settings -> Enabled choose ‘yes’ and Set options for generation sitemap. Here we can configure sitemap.
